I have had my KitchenAid Classic Mixer for more than a year now and I really value it because it had lightens my workload a lot. I use it at least once a week and for me it is the ever. Unlike many of the cheaper mixers that are lightweight and flimsy, this mixer was made to last a lot longer. In addition, it does an amazing job of whipping cream, mixing cookie dough and kneading bread dough effortlessly.
Kneading with Stand Mixer
"To get started, attach the dough hook to your mixer. Add the ingredients in the order the recipe specifies and then select the recommended speed. Usually, you will start out on a low speed to combine and progress to a medium speed for the kneading stage.
Check on your dough every few minutes until the allotted kneading time recommended by your recipe is up. Usually, a stand mixer will take about five minutes to complete the kneading. At this point, you may have to work the dough over once or twice with your hands to ensure that it has a nice round shape. Your dough is now ready to rise according to the time and conditions your recipe recommends.
I have also purchased the KitchenAid meat grinder attachment and I just love it. It is extremely versatile and it can be used to perform various tasks. Besides grinding meat, I use it to grate cheese, fruits and make bread crumbs. It is reasonably priced, easy to clean and small enough to store away..."
I highly recommend this mixer and of course at the very least, the meat attachment grinder to anyone who loves cooking. You will find that it helps make short work of time-consuming tasks and your cooking experience will be even more delightful.
